Inanimate Objects Camila Benitez P.6
This is a photograph of my favorite coffee mug. It has many uses. First use is for taking coffe to school when I stay up late. Second use is for drinking tea when I'm sick. The special thing about this mug is that it contains a filter attatched to the cap to place your favorite tea leaves inside and add hot water to the mug. After 2 minutes the tea will be brewed and will have ready, healthy, and natural tea to drink wherever you may be. So far this mug has helped me through stayig uop during class and getting better when im sick. It's my favorite beacuse I can make myself tea anywhere I want without the use of a stove. Also, this mug keeps drinks hot for 6-8 hours. At first I thought that it was impossible, but its not. This mug makes for a great christamas present because its perfect for the winter weather. I got this mug for my 15th birthday. Its been one year and I love my mug!

Self Portrait Essay Camila Benitez P.6
This self portrait shot of me was taken at Breakers Beach. Breakers Beach was the first beach I ever went to as a kid and I went again this past friday. This past Friday I attended my uncles retirement ceremony and reception. He retired from the Nay after 25 years in service. After the ceremony on the naval base, we wnet to celebrate on coronado island where Breakers Beach is found. Breakers Beach is also found on a naval base. In the background of this photo you can see the waves of the beach along with my younger sister and younger cousin. As evident from the photo, the weather this day was quite gloomy and cold. the lighitng in the photo is due in part because of the contrast between my coat, my hair, skin tone, and clouds. Not much sunlight was available to illuminate the scene. overall, Friday was a fun and beautful day spent with the family.

My Photo Essay
This Halloween I dressed up as Jay Choi also known as "Cardio". To complete my Jay Choi costme I wore his customized "Dry Bro" baseball t-shirt, his very own hat, a lanyard out of my pocket like his, sunglasses like his that he wears "rain or shine", and his exact backpack. To top it off I got into my best Jay Choi character by doing his "chill" pose and went around saying things Jay Choi would be expected to say. The resemlence is almost obvious in this photo. The rest of my friends also dressed up as the rest of the "Dry Bros". They also proceeded into weraring their own customized "Dry Bro" t-shirts, lanyards, hats, backpacks, etc. This halloween costume was quite clever and easy to do. The best part was that although we ddint dress up as anything too well known, most people around school knew who we were dressed up as and the laughed at our humor.
