    Relating the creation of farmers to the creation of earth by God was clever. By doing so, Dodge emphasized that the farmer is as essential to mankind as the things God created at the beginning of time.The farmer was described as the perfect American; attending to family, religion, politics, school, and all aspects of life. through all this the farmer was viewed as an inspiration to all Americans. However, although it was an inspirational commercial it is important to remember that the commercial is a commercial and its sole purpose was to make profit. The Dodge truck in the video was shown to make clear that the farmer drives a Dodge truck, so basically stating that the Dodge truck facilitates the farmer to be what he is.
